Installing Ardour on Fedora 7

Hi I am new to linux and would like to try ardour. I need to know how to install on Fedora 7. Please help.

We provide information on how to build Ardour from source under the download link. We don’t recommend doing this if you are new to building programs from their source code. Otherwise, you will have to find somebody else who has built a package for Fedora Core 7. In general, Fedora users can rely on the excellent Planet CCRMA repository to get all kinds of audio+video software installed at the click of a mouse, but as far as I am aware, CCRMA is not yet supporting FC7. I would check, though.

Try this site, it seems there is a chance for you:

http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/4782935/com/ardour2-2.0.5-1.fc7.ccrma.i386.rpm.html

Hope this helps you… if not feel free to ask again.
