HELLO I would like to know how to install a plugin in ardour 6.9. thank you very much for your attention

  • VST2 Plugin:
    You install it (using the vendor’s installer) and then have tell Ardour where to find it.
    Ardour > Menu > Window > Plugin Manager – bottom right you can configure the VST2 search-path. – Then Scan for new plugins

  • VST3 Plugin:
    You install it (using the vendor’s installer).
    Then Ardour > Menu > Window > Plugin Manager – just scan for new plugins

  • LV2 Plugin:
    Install it, and then restart Ardour. LV2 plugins are unconditionally indexed at application started.
