I have downloaded the latest ardour to my download file in xubuntu. please help me install it

There are instructions included. Just unpack the tarball and read them. If you don’t know how to unpack a tarball and your distribution of Linux doesn’t make that easy, maybe reconsider things.

to the folder and run:… in the terminal??
