In LSP compressor what is "Release Thresh" [Solved]

Sorry for post this question in here
I recently read LSP compressor/s manual but when i arrived at this knob “Release Thresh”

I confused
I think this threshold prevent release go below itself or ??
@SadKo can you help me to understand it ??

The compressor can provide two release times.
If the envelope (dot) is above the ‘Release Thresh’ then the ‘Release Time’ parameter is taken as a release time for processing.
If the envelope is below the ‘Release Thresh’ then the ‘Attack Time’ parameter is taken as a release time for processing.

Your mean this point ?

As far as i understand in this case envelope dot are above Release thresh so the ‘Release Time’ parameter is taken as a release time for processing

Yes, exactly. The dot indicates the position of the input envelope on the dynamics graph.

I’ve added corresponding clarification to the documentation. The updated documentation will be available in 1.2.8 release.

LSP plugins are king
But manual of them is a poor documention
I think just developer has enough knowledge to explain them for people
and how good you as a sir create a complete manual for each one

thanks

As usual, developers do not very like to write documentation. But we’re always open to volunteers that can do it the best.

I think move doc to a site like https://readthedocs.org/
and allow community to modify it can help to improve manuals
also between linuxmusians maybe you can find volunteers
