Hi all,
in a multitrack MIDI project, on track no.1 I assign velocity of 0 to all MIDI notes.
I save and close.
When I reopen the project, the regions on track 1 are empty. Why are MIDI notes with velocity 0 being deleted?

A MIDI note-on event with velocity zero is a note-off.
…and unless there is a note-on event before there is effectively no Note.

I needed that track to have a “visual” guide only, without having to mute it or turn the fader down in the automation. So I set it to a velocity value of 1, and the problem was solved.
