import sessions from Roland vs 840

Hi happy Ardour users,

have bought this M-audio 2496 card, and there’s digital connectors in.

There’s digital connector too, on my “old” vs840.

Is it possible to import EASYLY these old 8 tracks sessions in Ardour thru that spdif ?

I mean, did somebody here have done this before and like to share his knowledge ?
