Hi. want to suggest you take a look at Digitech’s Sdrum pedal for features that may improve ardour for non-linear live performances. Key featres are automatic fills that adjust based on whether there are 2 bars or 1 bar left. Auto improve at every other bar so it doesnt sound repetitive. Also the ability to load a single clip that contains both audio and midi data so a single slot can trigger everything needed or the ability to create infinite amounts of cues so support more complex and complete set lists.
Not really sure how useful this is given the current state of our non-linear workflow, but will keep it in mind.
There are already no limits on the number of cues that can be created … but there are limits in what the GUI can display, and I don’t see any sensible solution to that.
