I have input but cannot hear the input

I know this is pretty simple I just cant find out why I have input but no sound, can anyone help thank you

Also check your soundcard (ALSAMIXER) make sure all slidebars are up and active.

Hi

You need to set ardour to do monitoring if you want to monitor input via ardour. It is by default set to hardware monitoring.

I have a short memory, so can’t remember where this setting exists and am at work at the moment but play around and you should find it!! :slight_smile:
