I s it possible to view layers in one track simultaneously?
In Sonar, I was able to view track layers simultaneously, stacked vertically, which made it easy to crossfade and comp tracks. I’m hoping I’m simply overlooking the best way to do this in Ardour.
@audiodef: as usual, this has been implemented in ardour3. there is no way to do this in ardour2. the best way to comp takes right now in ardour2 is described elsewhere in the forums, and involves a track context menu item called “Select top region”.
Cool. I might look at Ardour3 (I know you don’t support it, so I won’t ask for support) to check out this feature.
Good to know it’s coming, though.
