just fired up ardour for the first time and started playing around. i clicked on some tiny downward pointing arrow type thingies which made the toolbar they were sitting next to disappear. not only that but the little arrow disappeared along with it leaving me with no obvious way of getting it back. ive trawled through the menus try to find something that could get them back but alas i have accepted defeat. can somebody please help me. i’m just a stupid computer programmer.
You could close Ardour and remove the .ardour2/ardour2_ui.conf file to get the defaults back.
It doesn’t dissappear, it gets made into its own window, which means you may be covering it up with the Ardour window, so make sure you check all open windows on your desktop.
