How to record midi output of midi guitar 2 plugin in ardour6

Some time ago, there was a post about how to record the midi output of jamorigin midi guitar 2 to plugin, which seemed to hinge on using an Audio+MIdi type track.

I can’t find the option to create an Audio+MIdi track on Ardour 6. Can anybody suggest how I could do this on Ardour 6?
