How to prevent the editor from shifting and zooming randomly?

Hello!
I record something using Punch in/out for example. I set the region pefectly in center of the screen + a few preceding bars to get the tempo and feel the music.
But almost every time I press Space or Ctrl+Space or Shift+Space the whole content is shifting to the right or zooming out randomly. I’m not touching mouse nor mouse wheel…
This makes me set up the zoom and position almost every take.
You have no idea how annoying this can be. Or have you?
The question:
How to stop Ardour doing this? Thanks!

Deactivate transport → follow playhead

Edit: sorry I’m tired, I think I understood you incorrectly. The fact that zoom level changes is pretty weird to me, I don’t think I saw that behavior before.
