How to I add a plug-in to a track?

I installed swh-plugins with my distrobution’s package manager, I just can’t seem to find where the plug-ins are locared in Ardour

In the mixer, right click in the black space above or below the channel fader (if you hover the mouse pointer there it should say ‘Pre-Fader inserts, sends & plugins’ or ‘Post-Fader inserts, sends & plugins’)

Then select New Plugin from the pop-up menu.
