General MIDI Synth preset path ??

General MIDI Synth follows the General MIDI GM/GS specification, and has a fixed set of sounds.

If you want to load custom soundfonts, you have to use another synth. e.g. a-fluidsynth to load .sf2 files

For custom samples, perhaps LSP sampler or the vee one sampler or similar plugins. see also http://linuxsynths.com/
