How to add a few miliseconds offset for a doubling effect?

Hello everyone, I want to try the trick described in the video below where a single guitar track was duplicated and a 20 msec offset was added in order to give it a stereo feeling. Is there an easy way to do this in Ardour?

Yes, just duplicate the track (Menu Track > Duplicate), select the region(s) on the duplicated track and nudge them backwards.

Note that 20ms here corresponds to a comb-filter at 5kHz or a runtime difference of about 9cm of sound in air. It’s not without artifacts to do that. You’re likely better off to use some spatialization effect.
