How do I prevent Editor List clicks from shifting the main view?

When I click on a track/bus/etc. in the Editor List, can I prevent the main view from jumping to that track/bus/etc.? I find it annoying when I want to simply rearrange tracks/buses/etc. and my view keeps jumping around.
