How do I fix the Midi Length when editing with "Internal Edit Mode", with snapping on?

Greetings. I am trying to make a chord progression in Ardour. I have snapping enabled in the midi window/ piano roll. Though, when I try to edit(drag) the length of a note, instead of it snapping at exactly, say 1.000 beats, it appears to snap at it, but in reality it ends up to be 0.992, or a bit further, or behind the corresponding value in beats. This happens for almost every note. I am unsure of what to do, and I couldn’t find any solution online in case someone was experiencing the same issue. I would appreciate some help.

I have experienced this too. The pianoroll-window is new in Ardour 9 and still in development. I presume a lot of strange-behaviour-things like this will get tackled in the future.
For reliable midi-editing at the moment I would advice to use the inline-editor, not the pianoroll.

Please file a bug report at tracker.ardour.org with a precise recipe for creating this error. I’ll be happy to take a look at it, but a basic attempt at recreating it here fails to do so.

Hello. I have submitted the report. 0010266: Midi note length not snapping to bar properly when dragging via cursor in Piano Roll - MantisBT
Should it not suffice, I could upload a screen recording. Thank you for your help.
