I hide 3 MIDI tracks belonging to group 1:
I save the project and close it.
When I reopen it, and click on group 1, the tracks I had hidden reappear:
This is unwanted, because I have to hide them again.
Maybe there is some setting to change?

Can’t replicate the problem under 8.10. This is a screenshot from restored session:
Overall setup looks similar and tracks stay hidden.
Maybe, but I’m not aware of such a setting.
I realized that restorng session has nothing to do with it.
I’ll reformulate the problem:
hidden tracks always reappear when I click on the vertical bar of the group on the left. They should remain hidden…

EDIT:
In practice I can’t hide tracks, because as soon as I click on the vertical bar of the group on the left, they reappear. This is troublesome when I have many hidden tracks.
So if I understand correctly, it doesn’t happen with the latest version.
Ah, yes. You are right. Clicking the group tab always switches the track visibility on for the whole group. This may be intentional, but looks more like a bug to me.
No, the behavior is identical in 8.10. Didn’t check nightly though.
