A friend sent me a session for Ardour. I downloaded Ardour from the site but when I open the session. I get the message Failed to Start Process thread. I’m not sure what to do…is there a certain way to set ardour up before you can open up a session? How can i fix the error so I can open up the session.
Can you create new empty session?
It seems the Audio/MIDI device setup is somehow invalid, perhaps an invalid device setting, wrong sample-rate, or too small buffersize? What settings Do you use?
i think I can create a new session. how do I check if the Audio/Midi is setup correctly…i think I got it…i changed the setting but now it says it can’t find audio file…does that mean it was saved incorrectly?
