Help for faking Mackie Protocol needed

I am trying to use normal midi controller as a control surface. My midi controller is pretty configurable, but most likely that is not going to be enough. So I plan to use https://github.com/mzuther/PythonMcu

But from where should I check what PythonMcu should be sending, and what MCP controller model to choose?

Whats your controller and does it support mcp?

If not you should instead use the midi in control surface setup.

It does not support MCP, but plain midi is not enough. I want to control also Mixbus EQ and compressor, and because they are plugins in random location, you can’t have them in midi map.
