I’m trying to make Ardour running with an old RME hammerfall I system. PCMCIA card into my Ubuntu computer.

Is it possible?
What do I need to do?

hdsploader - firmware loader for RME Hammerfall DSP cards
Looking for HDSP + Multiface or Digiface cards :
Card 0 : HDA Intel MID at 0xf6ffc000 irq 31
Card 1 : HDA ATI HDMI at 0xf6dec000 irq 32

Does lspci show the device?

Not sure what that is., lspci?

How do I check it?

lspci doesn’t show it

If lspci does not see the device, then nothing else on your computer can see it either. It would suggest a hardware issue of some type, either with the computer, the PCMCIA interface or the RME card (or more than one of the above).
