[EDIT] Never mind this post - I fixed it. Seems like my system was trying to use my internal sound card for recording all of a sudden. I just turned it off in Pulse Audio Controls to force everything through the external Alesis. All good now!
Just like the subject says - Meter is pegged out and I cannot bring it down to suitable recording level. Any ideas? Someone seen this before? It was fine before, but now is not. I have no idea what changed.
