FR: filter instruments at MIDI track creation

Hi,
before request, here’s the same post on mixbus forum: Filter instrument at track creation
let me know if this is inappropriate - so i can handle/remove

i’d like to be able to quickly filter instrument by doing:

1. create new midi track
2. select instrument → opens drop-down menu
3. type ‘P’, or ‘Pianoteq’ to show/select that instrument.

• i am aware of method: selecting -none- at creation then double-click to show plugin-manager and filter there… It would be neat to get rid of additional steps…

if not - there is still a workaround

It means you took too long to fill out the field. It’s a decade+ old bug in Mantis that has never been fixed.

i tried like 10 times with different browsers, wihtout luck…
it takes me around 15 sec to completely fill the ticket → and i encounter same issue. Can someone make what can i say other than i’ll keep trying…
