For everyone who insists a piano roll is mandatory

I love Ardour and wanted to say thank you to Paul and other Ardour devs. I think that inline MIDI editing is great, I also prefer velocity indicators to be placed on notes, because in my opinion that way of dealing with velocity just adds a whole new dimension to MIDI workflow and makes editing velocity much easier, but I think that separate piano roll is mandatory because it’s what most of edm producers are used to and if Ardour team wants more new users it has to make a separate piano roll an option. I believe that many of new Ardour users were scared off because of the way MIDI has to be edited currently and maybe used something else instead like LMMS or maybe they’ll use Zrythm as soon as it’s stable enough.
