To improve the file ordering it would be very useful to add and manage folder and sub-folders in the Region List where we can drag and store our files.
Please file feature requests in the tracker (http://tracker.ardour.org/) or discuss them on IRC or the ardour-dev or ardour-users mailing lists. Forums are pitiful venues to do this.

Why not eliminate this forum entirely and just point people at the tracker for suggestions, maybe wth a link that fills in the feature field?
