Is there a driver available for this interface to run in Ubuntu Studio? Also being new to Linux how do I confirm that it has recognized my fire wire card?Thanks

like has been explained umpteen times before: check if card works with Alsa (PCI) or ffado (firewire) to check if your card is supported. If there are alsa/ffado drivers, JACK will recognise the device, and hence they will work in ardour.
