How difficult would it be to add FL Studio style note deletion to Ardour?
It works like this:
If you right click on a note, the note is deleted. If you hold down the right mouse button on empty space and drag it over notes, those notes are deleted.
In REAPER one can go in to options and change what the right mouse button does (either select box, show a menu like Ardour does, or sweep and delete like FL does.) It looks like a similar option could be shoved in to settings here.
I noticed you can modifier-click individual notes to delete them, although this is still not quite as fluid (and doesn’t work on multiple without extra clicks.)
