We need pro tools like marker — with colored range and inside it name of range
You know all type of ardour marker (cd - range - loop - punch - location) is point marker
Now for easy song strctureing we need this type of markers

In Ardour, we allow ranges to overlap, which the PT-style fails to do.
We may allow a new kind of range to exist in the mid-term future (think of song sections like “chorus” or “intro”) that are non-overlapping. This work has started but has much further to go before it will be released.
