So i just spent a few hours remixing my favorite tune from this classic game 
Anyway i used ardour mainly just for the guitar tracks, so i guess it still qualifies to be posted here 
Sounds used: a few percussions from an oooold TR909 pack, simple waveforms (sine/sawtooth/whitenoise), a few samples included with Renoise, ZynAddSubFX for some synth sounds, and my own NeuralBlender for the guitar amps.
