How do I mix all my tracks to a stereo track?

I created a stereo mix track.
All recorded tracks’ outputs are directed to the master bus.
The master bus outputs are directed to the mix track. However, Ardour won’t let me delete both system outputs from the master bus. I can delete one or the other but, not both. The only output I get is from the master, I can’t monitor the mix track even though it is getting signal. Also, the mix track does not record.

Help please.

maybe i don’t understand what you are trying to do, but did you try to export your session? this does create a stereo track of all of your tracks…
