Ardour kept complaining about connect to jack at 48000 with the project recorded at 44100. When you play the files back, it was of course too fast.
This worked for me:
edit this file:
usr/share/pipewire/media-session.d/alsa-monitor.conf
change:
audio.rate = 44100
kill pipewire - it should restart on it’s own with the correct frequency.
