Hey Paul, recently it occurred to me that the “Favorite Plugins” function of Ardour would be greatly improved by the ability to categorize plugins into folders…
I’m not sure, but I assume this wouldn’t be too difficult to implement… What do you think?
That would imply having our own database of plugins that contained metadata about the plugins, created by the user. It would have to be updated/invalidated when plugins are changed. So yeah, not a trivial task to do correctly.
