Fader for trim dial available?

Before filing a feature request, just to then beeing told that there is already a solution, I wanna ask before this time.
The trim dial at the very top of a channel strip is very tiny and it’s very fiddly setting the input gain. For aux sends you can double click the send in the effects stack and the fader of the channel turns into the fader for the send, which makes it much better to handle. Is there something similar for the trim dial?
Just double clicking it doesn’t work but maybe there is some setting I don’t know about.

There is not. Also note that aux send gain is a fader (-inf … +6dB) with a dedicated exponential fader curve; while trim is -20… +20 dB (log-scale). Mapping it to a fader isn’t an option.

I tend to use the scroll-wheel (with optional ctrl+scroll for fine-grained), which works well for me on that knob.

Ah ok, I see. But the scroll-wheel approach at least doesn’t make me bump against the top of the screen anymore, when adding gain.

you can also drag to the right to in increase gain

down/left <> up/right

ok wow, I didn’t know that. I just assumed that it’s just up and down, good to know. But actually, now that I’ve know about the scroll-wheel, I really like it. It allows for very clear increments, that’s actually really cool.
