Fade In/Out export issue.

Hi.
I have an issue during export to any format, when I use fades on wav track.
Didn’t find similar topic on forum but may be somebody already encountered such a problem.
Here is I put samples of sound that I got:

Here is without fades, and sounds good:

you haven’t mentioned the version of ardour that you are using or the platform you are on.

Oh, yeah, you’re right, sorry.
So here’s it:
Ardour3.1 (built using 3.1-10-ged1f310, GCC 4.4.6)
OpenSuse 12.3 x86 Linux version 3.7.10-1.1-desktop (gcc version 4.7.2 20130108 [gcc-4_7-branch revision 195012]

Want to mention that if i use “Draw gain automation” it renders fine, without issue. But if I use faders it fails. It is sad, because faders more preferred to make fastly fade in/ fade out effect.

hi,
i can just confirm that i had similar feedback-like issue with export using fadeout in the end of the exported region. ardour 3.1.10, AV Linux 6.0

Unfortunately the same issue in 3.2 :frowning:

In 3.3 this bug is still present.

Region fades issue
Fedora: Linux xx.xxxx 3.10.10-200.fc19.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Aug 29 19:05:45 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
KDE: 4.10.5
Ardour: 3.4 (64 bit)

I also have an issue when exporting just a region with a region fades (in and out). The fades have an electronic, wire twanging type sound until full volume, then it sounds fine. When I export all the tracks, the fades sound fine. It just sounds strange when exporting the region with fades.

Thanks for the link. I stuck in my comment about the bug.

Yeah. Thanks for that…
