Hi everyone,
i’ve been using ardour3 with Arch Linux for a while now, but for some reason, exporting regions is extremely slow, even if there’s no samplerate conversion to be done or anything.
It was WAY faster in ardour2.
My startup parameters are:
jackd -R -P99 -dfirewire -r44100 -p128 -n4
I’m using an i5-Laptop with 4Gig RAM … should pose no problem.
I’ve also made the necessary modifications to limits.conf for the audio group.
On a sidenote, the DSP load is very high even if the whole system is idle.
Plus, when exporting, i can’t see the “RT” indicator in qjackctl …
Anyone got an idea what could cause the export to be so very slow ?
