it would be convenient to be able to export audio of groups of tracks.
For example, in a project there are 3 groups:
A(tracks 1-8)
B(tracks 9-14)
C (tracks 15-20)
In one go I export those groups.
Output: A.wav, B.wav, C.wav

If you want to do this, add a subgroup bus to each group, then do a stem export and only export the subgroup busses.
Otherwise, there is no single signal that corresponds to “Group A” that export could use (and indeed, you could have created a routing path that means that no such signal could be defined). Adding the subgroup bus defines what “Group A” means.
