Export sequence bus tracks?

I have bus tracks for sequencers (Hydrogen and Rosegarden).
Is there any way to export the sound from those buses? I have tried but the sequencers won’t start when I export.
Do I have to record the sequencer tracks to an audio track in Ardour before exporting?
