Export multiple regions at once

Hi everyone,

with multiple regions selected, when I right click on any one of them and choose “Selected regions > Export” from the context menu, I’d expect all of them getting exported to separate audio files. However, only one region is exported when I do this. Is this expected behavior?

I figure there’s a tutorial for exporting multiple regions in the tutorial manual at http://brunoruviaro.github.io/ardour4-tutorial/exporting-a-region/ that uses range markes. Another forum thread here at https://community.ardour.org/node/8594 basically suggest the same. But this is not suitable for me because it requires the regions to be in a sequence order along the timeline. I’d like to export multiple regions at once that are located on different tracks and sometimes overlap in the editor.

Is this possible?

Kind regards

It is not possible at this time.

paul, thank you very much for your quick answer. It’s not a dealbreaker of course; Ardour is great software, and the links above pretty much describe a feasible workaround.
