Export many channels to a multichannel track

Is it possible to export many channels (I have 4 separate mono channels) to a single multi-channel file, and if yes how can I do it?

Session > Export > Export to Audio File

Then in the “Channel” Tab, change the channel count of the target file to (here) 4, and then assign the left output of each track (Out-1) to each channel of the target file:

By default each track in Ardour has a panner to match the master-bus input. in your case, either leave it in the center, or bypass the panner (right-click on the panner)

I discovered the double-clicking ability on export tracks!
