Export format for a CD

Hi, I have edited many old recordings using Ardour in order to make a CD and I think that by default the files have been exported using the Amazon Music format. Now I am wondering if I should have used the CD Redbook format instead. Is it bad to use the Amazon Music format to make a CD? Should I re-export the files using the CD format? Will it make a big difference?

I just checked with my copy of Ardour 7.5 and it appears that the Amazon music export preset uses 48k sample rate. CD only supports 44.1k sample rate, you cannot use 48k files directly.

I was under the impression that CD Redbook is the CD standard format.
