export between 2 location marker or cue-markers, not from start-marker to end-marker

You can make a range selection, and then export that. Or make range or arrangement markers. Those are available as ranges when exporting.

  1. Right click above the rulers, Add > Range
  2. Tweak the position of the range markers
  3. File > Export > Export to Audio File
  4. Switch to the Time Span tab
  5. Uncheck the “session” box, check the box for teh range you created
  6. Export
