Hi
Ive just moved to a new hard drive and installed Ardour 8.12 and all my plugins.
Im getting more error messages than on my previous installation, both with the original and brand new installers. I’m now on Linux 6.12.17 on Debian testing.
Vst3s seem to be worst affected and a common scan fail message is
VST3 module-path ‘/usr/lib/vst3/NeuralNote.vst3/Contents/x86_64-linux/NeuralNote.so’

[ERROR]: Could not load VST3 plugin ‘/usr/lib/vst3/NeuralNote.vst3/Contents/x86_64-linux/NeuralNote.so’: /usr/lib/vst3/NeuralNote.vst3/Contents/x86_64-linux/NeuralNote.so: cannot enable executable stack as shared object requires: Invalid argument
Cannot load VST3 module: ‘/usr/lib/vst3/NeuralNote.vst3/Contents/x86_64-linux/NeuralNote.so’
Scan Failed.
Neural Note standalone is working fine
I have tried installing the vst3 in both ~/.vst3 and /usr/lib/vst3 folders.
Please can you explain the error message.
Here is my permissions for ~/.vst3 (checked from another folder in my home directory):

of these Decent Sampler and ZL Equalizer work, NeuralNote and all of the Dragaonfly reverbs failed when they worked previously, also on Debian testing.
Do you have any ideas about this?
