exec: 16: /usr/local/lib/ardour2/ardour-2.4.1: Permission denied

Hi guys, i try to run ardour 2.4.1 from my
/gtk2_ardour/ardour.sh file and i keep getting this:

exec: 16: /usr/local/lib/ardour2/ardour-2.4.1: Permission denied

i get some warning about my limited amount of locked memory too. Um, i’ve tryed running this as root as user , i’ve tryed chmod’ing everything to 777 in the ardour directory and i’ve changed owners between root and user and back and i’m gettin kinda lost as to why i’m getting a permissions problem. any ideas guys?

running Kubuntu Hardy 8.04 (kde3)
i have ardour installed already from packages BUT this problem is on a version i’m trying to compile from source for VST support. The VST sdk is set up and scons vst=1 and scons install both worked, now i’m just trying to RUN the program.

EDIT:
Ok, for VST enabled you have to go to the vst directory and run ./ardourvst , now everythings working fine

Thank god for the sickle cell
