Exclusive Lock, VST trouble

Heyo! I’m having trouble getting certain VSTS to load. I’m using Yabridge, I put my VST into the Yabridge folder and then sync it. It creates two of them, one with an error and the other that says ‘New’, but for some reason this times out and doesn’t load. What should I do from here?

I’m not sure this is an Ardour thing, I can’t get Tape Fiasco to run on linux using yabridge either (using reaper though). Don’t hesitate to update here if you can get it to work!

I don’t think you’re supposed to put anything in the yabridge folders… you let it manage them.

And I installed the plugin, yabridge seemed to think it was ok, but then it froze up both Ardour and Reaper when trying to attach it to a track. The vendor says it’s not tested on windoze.
