error while loading shared libraries: libjack.so.0

Have build ardour 2.1 on etch debian and when i launch ardour2 i obtain this error :

error while loading shared libraries: libjack.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

have search in forum about posts who talk about this kind of bug, and i found an old one from 2006 where explain to know about ardour needs with :

" you can check which libraries ardour needs by running ’ldd ardour’ "

i type it in usr/local/bin but have a error message : not a dynamic executable

i’m newbie on linux, so please could somebody help me with that not found librairies ???

thanks ;bye

You probably don’t have Jack installed. So you can either read something about how Ardour works, or use a multimedia-centered distribution. But if you want to use Ardour seriously you probably want to do both.
