Hi! I recently bought the Adour DAW and when im installing it on linux (xubuntu 20 LTS) I get the following error:

!!! ERROR !!! - Not able to add user to the audio group (usermod failed)!

Please add yourself to the audio group and re-login

How do I do to overcome this?

Try:

sudo adduser <username> audio (where <username> is your actual username). Log out and back in again and see what happens…

I would also suggest a reboot rather than logout/in. So far as I can tell, almost no DE properly exits the logind session for a simple logout/in which may leave things in an unknown state (pulse or jack running under a different dbus instance).
