Does it exist an equalizer that follows the key of the midi track ?
It would be perfect if the equalizer divides the chord to each of chord’s keys, and applies itself ( = the equalizer ) to each key separately = like if the midi track of the chord would be several midi tracks, each of them with 1 key (of the chord) and 1 equalizer, following this key.
Just to be clear… by “key”, you mean, “note”? At first, I thought you actually meant musical key, i.e. key signature or mode. But the further along we get, you get to “1 key (of the chord)”, which only makes sense as “note”.
Are you asking “Bb notes should have its own equalizer, as should F# notes” (not even getting into register), or “EbMajor should have its own equalizer, and C#minor should have its own equalizer”?
The EQ shape is applied relative to the fundamental. That may or may not be what you have in mind. The XT-* plugins work and process sound, only the custom GUI is proprietary.
I am looking for an EQ that does typically like this :
Let’s say that, at a moment, A3 (440 Hz) is played and, at the same moment, on this EQ, an attenuation of -1 dB is applied at 660 Hz ( = 1.5 x 440 Hz).
If an A4 (880 Hz) is played later, the same attenuation of -1 dB would then be applied at 1.5 x 880 Hz = 1320 Hz (and not more 660 Hz).
This is exactly what the Harrison Character plugins (XT-BC, XT-VC) do.
Except they have only two band, and the frequency of those is set relative to the fundamental frequency. So e.g. [1, 1,5] would correspond to your [440, 660 Hz] and later [880, 1320 Hz] example.
Have you tried those XT-plugins?
There are likely other EQs that do this as well, but I only know about the XT-BC/VC.
