Is there a way to get the bar and beats ruler in the edit window to show a score like display when bars of different meter are in a track arrangement?
The TS button apppears to set a global meter for the project and doesnt seem to have a from the playhead option to insert a bar with more or less beats.
So if I have an arrangement of 3 4/4 bars, followed by a 3/4 bar, the downbeat of the following bar appears on 4th bar, beat 4 on the timeline.
My question is, can the timeline display be manipulated so that downbeat shows on 5th bar beat 1?
If not, is there likely to be any change to this situation?

Thank you. It’s no problem really. It is up to the user to keep learning new things and the manual is very helpful, in a way I was being a bit lazy because it wasnt immediately obvious. Having said that, i think it would be great and intuitive if the TS button offered the option to change the meter at the current playhead position, unless there is some technical reason why it wouldn’t work, or be difficult to implement.
