dyne:bolic

I haven’t tried it yet myself, but word on the grapevine is that there’s a new version of Dynebolic linux (live cd) with Ardour 2 on it.

"2.5 DHORUBA is out sporting NTfs write support, several software upgrades (including Ardour v2 and Ekiga for live conferencing) and an improved nesting mechanism for usb keys.

After 6 months of development this release packs several fixes and capabilities for an effective and user friendly usage, see the full release announcement."

This is great for a very portable live cd and an easy way for newcomers to check out Ardour. Dyne has been long overdue to upgrade this package and it’s great to see that the work is finally done.
