When you add plugins into your session you can see your DSP value up in top right corner. Was just wondering why when you close plugins does it take a little while for the DSP % to drop down. You can see it doing a slow count down 1% at a time, why wouldn’t this just instantly drop down to the current DSP value being used.
Just curious if there was a reason for this / if anyone else experiences this?

It is the the worst-case performance in the last 5 to 10 sec. The display is very conservative so that you do not miss any spikes.
Some plugins also accumulate data and only batch process every nth cycles (e.g. convolvers at low latency). You could mistake this for a plugin being constantly added and removed…
